Ava is a former competitive figure skater of 12 years and is excited to share her love of skating with the next generation of athletes. She is a U.S. Figure Skating Triple Gold Medalist (Moves in the Field, Freeskate, Solo Free Dance), a U.S. National Competitor at the Intermediate Level, and represented Team USA at North American Series where she won the bronze medal. Ava trained under Olympic coach Tom Zakrajsek at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for five years and is also a regional and sectional medalist. Prior to training in Colorado, she was a Minnesota State Champion. She hopes that skaters gain an enjoyment of the sport, confidence, and excitement to learn new skills.
